Ice Bubbles: Take 2

I did my homework and gave it another shot- and I LOVE this!!! Each bubble was different and watching them freeze was mesmerizing and magical! They would actually start to spin and each ice formation was unique and different as you will see below. Some would burst before they finished freezing, others would completely freeze before they popped others would pop but still continue to hold a shape as they froze. I highly recommend this activity to anyone who has cold weather. Bundle up, make a solution or use cheap bubbles and get out side and watch natures magic!

Which one is your favorite? I would love to hear!

Historic Cold BRRR

Thermopolis is experience a rapid freeze front and it is COLD! Last night we got down to -37 and we could get that low again tonight or even lower! The river that flows through town has actually frozen over which is pretty amazing since we have an actual hot springs that flows into it!!! This is one for the book people! I am so grateful for my warm house and family to share it with. We ventured out for a few to try and see how frozen bubbles work and it was a super fun 8 minutes lol! Our high today has been -14 so we didn't stay out long! Here was the results- I am sure we will try this again! It was so cool!!

Merry Christmas! Stay warm!

Narnia....in Wyoming

My boys and I really enjoy The Chronicles of Narnia and so today while driving through the Wind River Canyon outside Thermopolis, WY we wondered if we had entered Narnia during the White Witch's Reign!

Wind River Canyon Freeze

I am lucky to live in Wyoming and right next to the Wind River Canyon were there is such diverse photo opportunities! We have had some warmer weather and that has started the snow to melt, then it freezes in these amazing frozen waterfalls! Today I saw this push seeming to grow out of the frozen waterfall and I just had to snap a few. I hope you enjoy!

Winter Frost

I love winter photography- funny thing considering I don't really like the cold! I gotta say though, nature makes the prettiest art!
