Life Gone

I took a drive on Sunday afternoon to find the abandoned town of Gebo, Wyoming. What I didn't expect to find was a complete landscape devoid of any reminders that a thriving coal mining town once inhabited the area- there was nothing. I had taken photos on Saturday, while rock hunting with family, that focused on the echos of life- how interesting that I found the lack of echos the next day.
