Dixie National Forest

Pine Valley Utah is my favorite place in the whole world! We took a nature hike and I found the prettiest things! A visit to the St. George Botanical gardens was also a beautiful site to find gorgeous plants!

Yellow flowers, green glass

My first photos after my surgery! I was repotting my poor neglected plant and these three tiny blossoms fell. I noticed my green glass lamp and the sunlight coming in on my piano and I just needed to take some shots. Who knew I would miss my camera so much? Here are my first pics from 2022! Just in time to end January :)

Lilies of the Field

This Mother's Day I recived my first ever delivery of flowers!!! I was so shocked and excited! My mom had the most beautiful lilies sent and they are just heaven! The colors, the smell (I never knew lilies had a fragrance!) -they are just gorgeous! I have been in a bit of a rut lately and so I challenged myself to give these beautiful lilies a 'photoshoot'. I hope you like the result!

Sleeping Beauty

We took a family day up in the Big Horn National Forest and I found these flowers that reminded me of the wonderful argument between Flora and Merriweather concerning Aurora's birthday dress. I imagine those fairies were still casting thier color spells and inadvertently hitting flowers along the way....

make it pink

make it blue

Thermo Springs

One thing I love about living in Thermopolis, WY is the Hot Springs. The water can be so colorful, blooming with different algae based on the temperature and then it leaves behind so much plain white sulfur. The contrast can be so stark and vivid. Sadly, over the few years since I have been here, the water has slowly decreased and with it the beautiful color.
